Twitch streamer ExtraEmily (with over 460K followers) had a rough day at the range during a live stream that left viewers concerned. On March 21, 2025, while visiting a shooting range in Austin, Texas with fellow streamer Katchii, ExtraEmily experienced a minor injury that has sparked a lively discussion online. 😬
🔫 What Happened?
During the stream, while shooting a pistol, a bullet casing unexpectedly flew out of the chamber and hit the front of ExtraEmily’s dress, causing her to cry out in pain. The discharged casing was so hot that it burned her dress as she quickly tried to shake it off.

ExtraEmily remarked, “Aw, I should’ve… Silly me,” and then bravely continued with the stream. Before resuming, an instructor on-site asked if she was alright, to which she confidently replied that she was “totally fine” and had just “wanted to get it out” of her dress. 👍
👚 Safety & Style
While the rest of the session went smoothly, some viewers expressed concern about her safety and choice of clothing. Many shooting ranges recommend wearing concealing clothing to prevent injuries like this. However, others noted that even proper attire isn’t completely immune to accidents—ExtraEmily’s instructor, for example, was wearing long pants and a button-up polo and could still be at risk.
🔥 Past Streaming Incidents
This isn’t the first time ExtraEmily has faced danger on stream:
- January 2025: She received backlash after pretending to fire Mizkif’s pistol without checking if it was loaded.
- October 2024: She fell off a mechanical bull at LA Comic Con, injuring her chin and drawing blood, which left chat deeply worried.
